Slippery Elm derives from the inner bark of an American species of Elm known as Red Elm. Sometimes the balm maybe a little hard in the jar. If this happens just warm it gently in you hand for a moment. The main constituent is coconut oil which can become a solid below 20C. This is completely normal and will not effect the product in any way. It may look a little mottled upon setting again shin this is nothing to worry about.
